Far have I come and
here I stand, my path
unfolding before me.
Here I begin anew,
flowing from Mother Earth
and ready to take wing.

Jennifer Wenn is a trans-identified writer and speaker. She is author of From Adversity to Accomplishment (2015), a family and social history, and A Song of Milestones (2019), her first poetry chapbook. Jennifer has spoken at the Fierté Canada Pride Annual Conference, the Thames Valley District School Board’s Gay-Straight Alliance Conference, and the Annual Conference of the Ontario Occupational Health Nurses Association, among other speaking appointments.
