Response

At first glance one might see people celebrating in a parade, but the grim expressions and (mostly) small signs instead suggest protest.

Taking to the streets, marching, raising their collective voice, Andrews’ subjects in Demo #3 appear united in action and unrest as well as vision and purpose.

The angle suggests we are not part of this collective action as we are elevated, looking downwards. Some of Andrews’ subjects arrest viewers by staring at us, confident and defiant.
