Beer has always had a way of bringing people together. The history of beer is almost as long as the history of human civilization itself, with evidence of beer being brewed more than 10,000 years ago. From historic breweries operating since the 1800s to the resurgence of microbreweries in the last decade, every brewery in London has their own story to tell and contributes to bringing our community together.
Gavin Anderson is Brewmaster at the family-owned Anderson Craft Ales. He co-founded the independent brewery located in London’s Old East Village with his father, Jim Anderson, in 2016. Gavin holds a PhD in microbiology and has won a national professional brewing award, along with four regional awards, and several medals at local competitions.
